Cigar News: Pennsylvania and New Jersey Authorities trying to Identify Jane Doe

Back in January of 2019, an unidentified cigar hit the market in the Pennsylvania area and without any identifiable markings or blend information it was named John Doe. That cigar was eventually declared an offspring from the Cubariqueño Cigar and now is officially a “unicorn”. If you have one you are lucky.

Now, cigar authorities in Pennsylvania have discovered another unidentified cigar. This time they tracked it back to the home of John Doe and the company behind this mystery cigar, Cubariqueño Cigar Co. It has been named Jane Doe.

The only things we know about this cigar is Jane Doe was born in the La Zona factory, Esteli, Nicaragua, she is a 6 x 52 box pressed toro, she is being preserved in 10-count white and black paper bundles resembling a body bag, and she has a $99.00 retail price.

This project is a Limited Edition with undisclosed amount of bundles. If any are left, they will be available after the company’s 4-Year Anniversary Party this coming Saturday, June 1st. The party will be held at the Holiday Inn, Clinton NJ at 2 PM.

The New Jersey Cigar Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying Jane Doe. The cigars will be available first to those attending Cubariqueño Cigar Co. 4 Year Anniversary Party at a special discount rate. All that contributed to the success of the company are invited to attend.
