Altadis U.S.A. is expanding its celebrated collaboration with master blender Christian Eiroa with the introduction of the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro, a new expression that builds on the success of the original anniversary release honoring the partnership that began three decades ago.
First introduced at the April 2026 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary reunited the brand with Christian Eiroa, who developed the original Saint Luis Rey blend in 1996. Following the enthusiastic reception and successful run of the anniversary cigar, the Maduro marks a natural next chapter in the collaboration. This latest offering provides aficionados a richer, bolder interpretation while preserving the character and craftsmanship of the original.

Handmade in Honduras, the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro features an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper over a Honduran Corojo binder and a blend of Pinareño (Colombian) and Corojo (Honduran) filler tobaccos. The result is a deep, complex and flavorful smoking experience with tasting notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit and roasted coffee.
Christian Eiroa stated:
“The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro represents the continuation of a chapter we began in 1996 but never had the opportunity to bring to market. As we continue to celebrate this milestone anniversary, we’re proud to be able to build on the legacy of the original collaboration. With the Maduro, we wanted to preserve the distinctive foundation of the original blend while delivering a richer, more intense expression that remains true to the character of Saint Luis Rey. It’s a natural evolution of the story we started together.”
Like its predecessor, the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro will be available exclusively through brick-and-mortar retailers, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to the traditional premium cigar retail experience.

Marina Tuntes, Brand Manager at Altadis U.S.A. noted:
“The response to the original Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary release confirmed that there is a real appreciation for the history and authenticity of this collaboration. Introducing a Maduro was a natural next step. It allows us to build on that momentum, offer consumers a new smoking experience and continue supporting our brick-and-mortar retail partners with a compelling addition to the Saint Luis Rey portfolio.”
The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro will debut at the late October 2026 Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) meeting, offering attendees an exclusive first look at the new release. The cigar will roll out nationally to brick-and-mortar retailers, with shipments scheduled to begin by the 2027 PCA trade show.
The Saint Luis Rey 30th Anniversary Maduro maintains the recognizable presentation of the anniversary collection, featuring 25-count wooden cabinet style boxes and a refined black-and-gold identity. The four sizes carry suggested retail prices ranging from $12.00 to $13.50 per cigar.

With the introduction of the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro, Altadis U.S.A. and Christian Eiroa continue celebrating three decades of shared history, bringing a new dimension to a collaboration rooted in tradition, craftsmanship and an enduring passion for premium cigars.
