Southern Draw Cigars has provided notice to all its Valued Retail Partners of a price adjustment to take effect January 1, 2022. This is the first price adjustment for the company in 3 1/2 years.
The price adjustment for all Southern Draw Cigars SKUs is in response to inflation, increased labor, and materials costs. As a result of these changing market conditions, Southern Draw Cigars will apply a flat 4% price increase to all SKU’s included on the wholesale price sheet and for all special production projects, the flat shipping rate of 4% of order total will be unaffected.
The price adjustment will go into effect at 12:00AM Central on January 1, 2022 and will remain in place until further notice. The thank thanks their partners for looking out for our growing brand for so many years, allowing them to deliver each Southern Draw product at the fairest price possible.
As the valued retail partners continue to adapt retail strategies to the post COVID/pandemic market, and for the company’s planned price adjustment, they have offered a special incentive as noted here:
“On all wholesale orders received between November 15, 2021 – December 15, 2021, Southern Draw Cigars will apply a one-time 10% discount on all in stock items. The discount may NOT be combined with any other specials or discounts and will be applied only to IN STOCK items at the time we process the order. Sorry no rainchecks or backorders. Contact your broker for updated inventory list or if your account is managed by SDC, please contact the company directly to take advantage of this special incentive.“
Southern Draw Cigars also announced a planned closure, between December 23, 2021 – January 2, 2022. During this time the company offices and warehouses will be closed to allow the families to rest and recuperate from their record setting sales year. They notes that retail partners should get their orders in by December 21, 2021, 2 pm CST to insure delivery in 2021. All orders submitted after December 21, 2021 will be processed in the order received when the company’s offices reopen on January 3, 2022.
