Cigar News: Warped Cigars Announces Return of Eagles Decent

Warped Cigars has announced the return of a fan favorite which was never released on a worldwide level, Eagles Descent! Originally released as a retailer exclusive in 2019 for R Field Wine Company in Honolulu, the blend has returned as a limited edition for all Warped retailers around the world.

The Eagles Decent features components that are true to the original blend, being full bodied and full strength.

The company noted:

We wanted to offer a difference from the original release. We reworked the Viso and Seco within the blend leaning more toward Jalapa, to offer undertones of additional sweetness to play with the rich dense power of Esteli Ligero.

Rolled at Aganorsa Leaf in Esteli, this Nicaraguan puro comes in boxes of 25 and limited to only 1,500 boxes before the size retires for good. It will be expressed in a single (5 5/8 x 52) Toro Especial vitola.

The blend is describes as:

  • Wrapper: Jalapa Corojo ’99
  • Filler: Esteli and Jalapa Corojo ’99 & Criollo ’98
  • Binder: Esteli Criollo ’98

The company will not be reproducing this size again.

Tasting Notes: Rich leather, red and black pepper, oak, dried fruit. A strong representation of Nicaraguan tobacco with a full bodied core.
