Wrapper – Ecuadorian Sungrown

Binder – Dominican

Filler – Dominican and Nicaraguan

  • 11 months in my humidor
  • Nicely packed tight seams
  • Two bands including footer that declares it as the Sungrown
  • Medium brown silky wrapper with some marbling
  • Well finished cap
  • Pre-light sweet tobacco aroma
  • Cold draw offered a restricted draw with leather note
  • First puffs deliver coffee and citrus peel
  • Some spice enters
  • Solid light grey ash
  • Slight mineral note enters followed by a touch of nut
  • Floral aroma developing
  • Coffee evolves with a bitter coffee bean finish
  • Burn is perfect
  • Smoke volume picks up after two inches
  • Ash fell after 2 inches
  • Excellent burn cone – well constructed
  • Spice builds
  • Dried cherry enters  with a touch of leather
  • Wrapper oiled up nicely
  • Spicy aroma at the end
  • Dried cherry builds through the remainder
  • Medium Strength
