The House of Representatives passed the year end funding bill today that includes funding to keep the government running through September of 2020. The bill was broken into two packages – one for national security which passed 280-138 and the other for domestic agencies which also passed 297-120.
The domestic agencies part included a provision to raise the minimum age to purchase tobacco nationwide to 21.
The bill heads to the Senate next and is expected to pass and President Trump has signaled he will sign it.
