Cigar News: Fratello Cigars Introduces – Fratello Arlequin Prensado Robusto & Toro

Fratello Cigars announced today, the introduction of the Fratello Arlequin Prensado. Originally introduced back in June 2019 and expressed in a 6 x 50 vitola packaged in “Space Fresh Packs”, the 2020 “Same Blend, New Look” version of the Arlequin will debut in 2 box-pressed vitolas, a 5 ½ x 52 Robusto and a 6 ½ x 54 Toro.

When introduced in 2019, the company intended for the consumer to pick their favorite cigar, from the two choices available in the Fresh Pack, and share their feedback with the Fratello Team.

With regards to that feedback, Omar de Frias, owner of Fratello Cigars stated:

“We had an overwhelming response to our market research. We had people from all over the world submitting their preferred smoke. I was so impressed with the data, as different countries and demographics would be favor one blend over the other.”

The final consumer analysis resulted in the following blend expected to hit the shelves in September 2020.

  • Wrapper: San Andres Mexico
  • Binder: Ecuador Habano
  • Filler: Peru and Nicaragua

The Fratello Arlequin Prensado will come packaged in 20-count boxes and will retail individually for $9.50 (Robusto) and $10.50 (Toro).

Arlequin is manufactured at Joya de Nicaragua in Esteli.
