  • Small Churchill (Robusto) (5.5″x 50)

For this review I sampled the Especial No.6 (Toro) which I purchased at the Mancave Cigar Lounge Fort Lauderdale.

  • Dark brown wrapper with a touch of red clay color
  • Pre-light scent; cocoa and vanilla
  • Well capped
  • Dark black tobacco just under the wrapper
  • Tight draw
  • Early pepper shot
  • Citrus light to start with slight cream – like an orange Creamsicle
  • Wonderful spice coming in
  • Simple band the cigar
  • Smooth felt-like wrapper
  • Citrus is full even some cherry coming in
  • Nice tight, toothy, medium grey ash
  • Very smooth smoke
  • Perfect burn
  • Citrus and espresso at this point a third down
  • Ash fell at inch and half
  • The citrus lingers a little on the palate
  • Smoke is very smooth through the retro-hale.
  • Mid second third – some nut entering
  • Final third a touch of spice enters
  • Burn was impeccable
  • Flavor terrific
  • I just love the Oscuro wrapper
  • Would pair well with a nice dark coffee
