We recently learned that Gary Griffith, the face behind Emilio Cigar and House of Emilio is retiring. Gary was one of the nicest personalities in this industry. The House of Emilio face book page stated:
Hello Friends,
Today’s post is to inform our friends in the cigar industry about the retirement of Gary Griffith from Emilio Cigars, House of Emilio, and Delaware Cigars.
Gary was a visionary and a social media marketing pioneer. His time with us was filled with laughter, caring, and many great cigars.
Going forward, his legacy will continue through the brands he’s helped, the distribution company he led, and the cigars that he blended.
We wish him all the best in his future adventures!
Over the years Gary built not only an amazing cigar brand but also a fine distribution that included such brands as:
- Ezra Zion
- Nomad
- 1502
- Epicurean
- Guayacan
- Emilio
I contacted Gary the other other day and asked what he plans on doing and he stated that he has a started a new Facebook page – Gringos Cigar Blog Feed. Gary explained that:
The new page is my way of continuing to support the industry. I’m eternally grateful to all the people who helped and supported me along the way, and wish to continue giving back.
We all wish Gary the best and look forward to following his page which will post cigar review links to help you find the most up-to-date information on cigars from blogs we have come to know and trust.
Gary also has a Website Tobacco Gringo that continues his journey in the world of cigars.
Stay Smokey Gary and we hope our paths meet again.
