“That’s great! It starts with an earthquake, Birds and snakes, an aeroplane; Lenny Bruce is not afraid.”
For those that know this lyrical line you recall it comes from the R.E.M. classic song – It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine). Well, Fred Rewey and the Nomad Cigar Company want to make sure you feel fine this holiday season as the company announced the long-awaited full release of the Fin de los Mundos (End of the Worlds) cigar. The cigar, originally released in 2016, was limited to a few exclusive retailers. Beginning Nov 30th any existing retailer can add Fin de los Mundos to their Nomad offerings.
Fin de los Mundos, or ‘End of the Worlds,’ is Nomad’s most recent (and strongest) blend in an already extensive portfolio.
The nationwide distribution of Fin de los Mundos brings Nomad to a full 16 blends, 58 sku’s portfolio. Fred “Godfadr” Rewey has been a busy man these past few years for sure.
In true “Nomad” fashion, Fin de los Mundos is a complex blend utilizing fillers from three different countries and was created and rolled at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua
- Wrapper: Pennsylvania Broadleaf
- Binder: Nicaraguan Habano
- Filler: Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Pennsylvania
Fin de los Mundos comes in four sizes and is the second time Rewey has used Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper.
- Toro (6 x 50) – $9.75
- Corona Gordo (5.5 x 48) – $9.25
- Robusto (5 x 50) – $9.50
- Shorty (4 x 54) – $9.25
The ‘official’ expansion of Fin de los Mundos will be held at Underground Cigar in Fort Worth, TX on Dec 2, 2017 and allows for limited pre-orders before the event if contacted.
Continued allocations will begin with pre-orders from the 2017 IPCPR convention.
So if you want to experience the Fin de los Mundos, contact the Nomad Cigar Company or your local Nomad Cigars retailer. When you get your hands on one sit back, relax, and remember the words of R.E.M:
“It’s the end of the world as we know it (It’s time I had some time alone)”
